FAQ's

Sizing & Fit

1
Can I order a different size for my left and right foot?

Yes! We want your boots to fit perfectly, so we are happy to accommodate different sizes for each foot. We also offer size exchanges if the initial fit isn't quite right.

2
Can you adjust boots to accommodate bunions or other foot conditions?

Yes, we will do our best to modify the last to fit your unique foot shape. Please note that this custom process requires detailed information from you and may involve a few fitting iterations (shipping mock-ups back and forth). While we cannot guarantee a perfect fit on the first try, we are committed to working with you to get it right. Please review our [Terms and Conditions] regarding custom boot returns for more details.

3
Do you offer women's sizes?

Currently, we only offer men's sizes, but we are actively developing a dedicated women's boot last. We anticipate launching our women's line by the end of 2026.

Production & Orders

4
Why are your boots made-to-order instead of kept in stock?

Etosha Boots are handcrafted, which means they take time to build right—typically about six weeks from cutting the leather to the final finish. Operating on a made-to-order model allows us to keep our premium manufacturing costs down and pass those savings on to you. Because we own our factory, we have complete control over production and proudly offer one of the fastest delivery times in the logging boot industry.

5
Do you accept bulk, group, or government orders?

Absolutely. We can accommodate orders of any size. For Canadian group orders of 12 pairs or more, we will even send your team a Brannock device so you can accurately measure and confirm everyone's sizes before finalizing the order.

Repairs & Returns

6
What happens if my boots squeak?

Because these boots are manufactured using the same traditional techniques and natural materials used for over a century, they are not entirely "squeak-proof.” While we utilize modern glues and high-pressure hydraulic presses and flash activators to ensure a solid build, a minor squeak can occasionally occur. If your pair does squeak, don't worry—it typically fades away as the leather settles during the break-in period.

7
Do you offer resoling or rebuilding services?

Because Mexican customs regulations prohibit the import of used footwear to Mexico, we cannot perform in-house resoling or rebuilding. However, we will soon offer comprehensive re-sole and re-build kits that you or your local cobbler can use to restore your boots to their original glory. We are also in the process of certifying authorized repair shops across the USA and Canada who will have access to our original components*, saving you time and shipping costs. *We will always have the leather and components for all the logging boots and derivatives but, may not always have the special leathers used on lifestyle boot uppers.

8
How long does it take to receive a refund?

We process authorized refunds within five business days. You will receive a confirmation email once we issue it. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take a few additional days to post the funds to your account.
