Our Story
Etosha Boots is a proudly Canadian brand brought to life by master bootmakers and artisans based in León, Mexico—the undisputed footwear capital of the world. For the people who build our boots, this isn't just a job; it is a profound piece of their heritage.
Every pair is meticulously crafted by third- and fourth-generation artisans who have dedicated their lives to mastering the trade. After years of manufacturing exceptional Goodyear Welted footwear, we transitioned our focus to crafting Pacific Northwest (PNW) style logger boots.
Today, we build them with the same uncompromising, time tested methods used over a century ago, ensuring they are ready for extreme conditions.
Led by Makers, Not Managers
At Etosha, our leadership is on the factory floor, not just in the boardroom. Founded and engineered by lifetime shoemakers, our brand is backed by over four decades of hands-on manufacturing experience.
With a deep history in the engineering departments of industry giants like Timberland and H.H. Brown, and specialized technical expertise as a model maker for shoe lasts, our founder ensures that the ergonomics, fit, and durability of every boot are engineered to absolute perfection.
The Etosha Advantage: True Independence
Total Control
We control every step of the bootmaking process in-house. From initial pattern engineering to CNC milling our own heel base models, nothing is left to chance.
No Outsourcing
Because we do not rely on third-party manufacturing, we can deliver superior value directly to you without compromise.
Premium Standards
Features that come standard on every pair of Etosha boots are often charged as premium upgrades—or are entirely impossible to find—with other brands.
Built for the Frontlines
We don't just build boots; we build essential equipment. Whether you are wrenching on heavy diesel machinery deep in the timber, grinding structural welds hundreds of feet up on a suspension bridge, or felling timber in the Taiga, Etosha Boots are designed to be as relentless as the professionals who wear them.
